Ogla Cares Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in March 2025 in loving memory of Madam Gladys Siaw Owusu alias “Ogla”, a remarkable woman whose life was defined by kindness and selflessness. The foundation is dedicated to improving health outcomes for women and girls in vulnerable communities in Ghana as well as general acts of benevolence and kindness in line with causes that were dear to her heart. Her compassion and unwavering commitment to helping others especially vulnerable women and girls continue to inspire the foundation’s mission. The organization focuses on key areas such as:
• Sexual, reproductive and maternal health education for women and girls in deprived communities
• Access to Sexual and Reproductive health through telemedicine for women and girls in deprived communities
• General philanthropy and poverty alleviation
Guided by the values Gladys embodied; the foundation operates with the belief that no act of kindness is too small thus it’s slogan of ‘creating ripples of kindness one good deed at a time’
By continuing her work, the foundation strives to build a world where compassion and care are extended to all who need it the most.
